Expense policy

Budget items that can be purchased with the financial support of the AI Incubator

Each selected project will receive a grant that can be used for activities that advance the goals of the research project proposed in the incubator. A budget proposal is required during the application process, and a detailed budget will be approved upon project selection.

Acceptable expenses include:

1. Attendance to scientific events:

   1. Registration fees to conferences and workshops

   2. Travel expenses associated to attending scientific events

2. Equipment

   1. Computational equipment: laptops or desk computers

   2. Set up for remote connectivity: headset, microphone, webcam

   3. Portable battery

   4. Internet costs

3. Scientific outputs

   1. Article processing charges

   2. Scientific poster printing

4. Stipends

   1. Stipends for the time dedicated to the project are an acceptable expense if properly justified

5. Other project costs

   1. Specific scientific equipment

   2. Laboratory reagents

   3. Purchasing of molecules

If you wish to use the funds for an expense not listed here, please contact us to obtain prior approval.

Budget Justification

A detailed budget justification with invoices will be required at the end of the Program.
